Dr. D. S. Rawat, Former Secretary General, of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, began his career in the regional apex chamber of the PHDCCI.

His sincerity, commitment, hard work, and zeal towards his professional assignment soon made him one of the key persons of the institution in which he served for two decades. In this assignment, he was also deeply involved with policy matters and formulating perspective plans. Today, Mr. Rawat has been the Secretary-General (CEO) and is responsible and accountable for all the activities of the Chamber.  He is nationally acclaimed for his irreplaceable contribution in providing leadership to the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) which helped the institution to position it as the country’s Knowledge Chamber.

Dr. Rawat is known internationally for his acumen ship in spearheading knowledge management for trade and industrial development of India at a time when the economic growth of the country is passing through a challenging time.
